In construction Summary (Needs) The function of the architect is to solve problems that benefit the people and the city as well, and in that matter satisfy their needs. When an architecture start a design or a project is important to consider three things; the needs of the people, the structural needs of a building itself and the context in which the building is placed. It´s true that the dynamic of this three mentioned areas change in time constantly and can change even during the design process. If one element of needs dominate is a choice by the architect but he or she must be conscious of the domination and consequences of that choice. The architect to come to acceptable solutions should study these three areas (people, building, context) one by one. Starting with people needs: Physiological by maintaining balance, providing adequate air, temperature, water, etc , must fit human scale and adequate in terms of sense, light temperature, humidity, ventilation to bring comfort to people; Psychological , to provide a sense of safety, security, sufficient space and privacy; Sociological, must reflect that the needs will solve for all the people and must provide for interaction with other, making public spaces as well as private. In terms of building, must bring protection, also consider, weight, comfort, flow and distribution. And finally the context of building must be consider these categories: culture, environment, connections and economic.
